About Us
National Organization
The Interior Design Society is an independent national organization of more than 3,000 members. IDS is one of the country’s largest design organizations dedicated to serving the residential interior design industry.
The IDS National Headquarters is located in High Point, North Carolina, the home furnishings capital of the world.
DFW Chapter
Our Dallas – Fort Worth Chapter was established in 1998 and now has grown to over 157 members. We are so excited to be announced as the LARGEST IDS Chapter in the country! We are proud to be located in an area of Texas known for design and style, and we hope to utilize this trait to continue to grow and expand our membership.
DFW Chapter Mission
Our mission is to strengthen and grow the Interior Design Society by providing its members with education, resources, programs, and services that aid in their path to professionalism in residential interior design.
National Conference
Every year, IDS members from around the country gather at the National Conference to learn, share, and celebrate.
In 2016, Dallas had the honor of hosting the conference including the annual award gala featuring nationally aclaimed designer, Dann Foley, as MC. Watch the video to hear from Dann why he belongs to IDS and you should too.
In 2017 IDS is partnering with ART to create the premier home furnishings event. Click here for more on this exciting opportunity.
IDS DFW Awards
Our Dallas – Fort Worth chapter is striving every day to become more known and recognized for our hard work and design efforts. Over the years, we have won several awards and are continuously working to add to our growing accolades.
